Thirty-four horse-and-rider combinations attempted the first round, designed by Guilherme Jorge of Brazil, with only four returning for the jump-off. Rivetti explained that his focus this week was to “put her [Bacara D’Archonfosse] in form” for the upcoming WEF season. “She did the World Cup in California, so this week we jumped a smaller class. The plan is to compete in the Nations Cup here for the Brazilian team and then maybe the Olympics,” Rivetti concluded.
